COVID-19

For international performers at the H. C. Andersen Festivals 2021 in Odense, Denmark.

Dear performer

We hope you and your family are doing well and that you are not too personally affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are all affected by the pandemic to a greater or lesser extentUnfortunately, it challenges our daily lives and makes it difficult to plan the futureIn the following we will try to inform you about the actual COVID-19 situation in Denmark and the expectations for late August when the festival is held.

Positive expectations for August

Right now, Denmark has a relatively calm and well controlled situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemicSociety is slowly reopening, and the Danish population is being vaccinated at a steady speedBy the end of August, the population is expected to be fully vaccinated.

You and a lot of our other performers come from around the world and are therefore affected by the COVID-19 situation in very different ways.

Constantly changing rules and regulations

The rules and regulations from the Danish Government regarding the pandemic situation keep changing and are continuously adjusted to the actual circumstances. Therefore, the guidelines from us can only be in general terms at the moment

We expect the exact rules and regulations for the festival period (August 22-29) to be updated in the following links by the beginning of August.
