COVID-19

The H.C. Andersen Festivals follow the guidelines from the Danish government concerning prevention of infection with coronavirus. Stay informed at each activity description on this website from August 5th and at the websites of the The Danish Health Authority and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Corona passports and tests

In Denmark we employ corona passports to prove our corona vaccination, negative tests or recovery from the virus. If you have not been infected or vaccinated, corona tests are therefore necessary during your stay. The passport is a requirement at restaurants, cultural activities and attractions and consequently at the HCA Festivals.

We use two kinds of tests, which are both free of charge. To be tested without a Danish CPR (civil registration number), see below:

  • PCR tests: You can sign up for a test and receive your result using your e-mail address through this link: Covidresults.dk. You will typically receive your result after 24 hours.
  • Rapid antigen tests: It is not necessary to sign up for this test, simply show up at the test centre.
You will be registered via your date of birth and year (6 digits). Afterwards, you will receive a link by text message, where you can enter your date of birth and year and the hour and minutes (HHMM) mentioned in the forwarded text message. The result will typically be ready within 15-30 minutes.

Please note that both tests expire after respectively 96 hours for the PCR test and 72 hours for the rapid antigen test.

Also note that it is a requirement to wear face masks at the test locations, and that it will be possible to be tested at Odense townhall, in the basement, during the festivals.
