If you keep your eyes peeled, you might be lucky enough to spot the Shadow People. They prefer not to be seen, so they make themselves small and hide in the nooks and crannies of the city.

The Shadow People are tiny creatures from the world of fantasy. In Odense, it has been observed that they like to re-enact H.C. Andersen’s fairy tales.

Can you find them? And can you perhaps also guess which fairy tales they are imitating?

The Shadow People are a series of small 3D-printed sculptures inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s paper cut-outs and fairy tales. The figures are thumb-sized and placed throughout the city’s spaces, both indoors and outdoors.

(Pssst… The Shadow People have been spotted in the route of Hans Christian Andersen's footsteps, at Odense Main Library and in Storms Pakhus)

Note: At the indoor locations Odense Main Library and Storms Pakhus, you can only enter during the venues’ normal opening hours, which can be found on their websites.
