In a street show that combines theatre, contemporary circus and movement with fire and pyrotechnics, seven international artists explore the connection between people – and what exclusion does to us as individuals.
How does it feel to belong? And how far will we go to gain the recognition of others? Through this comic tragedy, you as the audience can experience the contrasts between connection and isolation in a group of close friends and the outcast.
With Don't Be Shy, Cirquencia, the company behind the performance, seeks to move away from traditional fire shows and create a new way of using fire in a wild and multidisciplinary work of contemporary circus.
