Phønix has played Danish folk music for families and children from Beijing to Toronto, from Vienna to North Cape, and presents a lively concert that brims with musicality, energy and a strong visual expression.
As an Audience, you are drawn into an exciting world of catchy melodies, funny rhymes, lively folk songs and groovy rhythms that grow directly out of Danish musical culture. With bass clarinet, vocals, harmonica, percussion and keyboard, Phønix has a unique instrumentation that brings the sound of the whole world into their folk music. Phønix delivers an unforgettable concert experience with an energetic, engaging stage show and lots of audience participation in the form of call-and-response singing, clapping and body percussion.
