Silence has fallen upon a small house in the middle of the Siberian steppe – all the residents have moved out and the house has begun to fall into disrepair. Domovoï – the Slavic spirit of the house – wakes up for the first time in 80 years and begins to grasp what has happened. His purpose in life is to preserve cosiness – but what do you do when there is no one left? Leaving the house is impossible, because he is a part of it. Disappearing is not an option either, because Domovoï is immortal.

Domovoï wanders through old bits an bobs that come to life and tell their stories, filled with forgotten values. Through forgotten boxes, the shadows of ancestors and unexpected discoveries, Domovoï redefines his reasons for the hearth and home.

A poetic, tragicomic and slightly philosophical performance that mixes clowning, physical theatre and object theatre in a show for the whole family. A performance about the feeling of being at home, about loneliness and about searching for meaning when all seems lost.
