During the H.C. Andersen Festivals the street of Ny Vestergade is transformed into the Art Street, featuring cosy decorations, experiences and activities for everyone.
The duo, Life of a Busker, brings music to the street with short, enjoyable concerts. Just like H.C. Andersen, the two musicians love travelling, and with music acting as their lodestar, they’ve travelled around the world, performing in countless marketplaces and street corners.
The music by Life of a Busker is intimate, personal pop, that touches upon themes such as love, loneliness, mental health challenges and the feeling of not belonging, in addition to drawing inspiration from the experiences the duo has had and relationships they’ve established with people all over the world.
Life of a Busker is proof that magic happens when you live out your dreams and do what you’re passionate about. That’s why they hope to inspire others to find their own path in life, wherever it may lead.
