The city streets are transformed into a colourful celebration filled with life, rhythms and an air of adventure when the CulturArte's samba orchestra, theatre-loving children from Denmark and China in beautiful costumes – and anyone else who wants to join in – set the rhythm for the city and pay tribute to our beloved Hans Christian Andersen.

Come and join us. Whether you are young or old, dancing or clapping along, it will be a festive experience. Bring your family or friends and be part of a celebration that builds bridges between cultures, generations and the world of fairy tales. The two passionate theatre directors and Andersen fans William Yip from Hong Kong and Torben Iversen from Odense will lead the way.

The parade starts at the Fairytale Castle in the park Eventyrhaven and ends at Odeon in the H.C. Andersen neighbourhood.
