With his electronic solo project Occam, saxophonist Hans Mydtskov has created a sonic universe in which he takes the listener on a journey of discovery through dreamlike soundscapes and evocative melodic structures. For the H.C. Andersen Festivals, he has created the piece Lyden Under Byen (The Sound Beneath the City) for saxophone and electronics, which will be performed in the car park basement beneath the city centre.
The vast concrete space and its extraordinary acoustic potential have been a dream venue for Hans Mydtskov to perform in ever since the car park was built, so you can look forward to a truly unique sound experience with his project Occam.
In 2025, Hans Mydtskov released the album “Components” with Occam.
