Ras Bolding performs his popular HCA Suite, which has drawn full houses at the festival for several years. The HCA Suite features musical interpretations of the fairy tales The Snow Queen, The Shadow, The Fir Tree, The Story of a Mother, The Little Mermaid and The Little Match Girl, wrapped in new musical guises in styles such as synth and goth, punk and folk, 8-bit and oriental sounds with references to some of the classical composers that H.C. Andersen himself is said to have listened to.

The theatrical concert features visual elements such as lighting, laser shows, costumes and illustrations by Penelope Ramon and Jannik Juhl. On stage, Bolding (vocals, synthesizers, Commodore 64) is flanked by Alex Anarki (synthesizer) and Kaos Korrosion (additional vocals, synthesizer).

2025 marks the 150th anniversary of H.C. Andersen's death, and to mark the occasion, the Suite is framed by a musical Prelude and Postlude based on the author's death. The concert takes its starting point as the author lies dying and is haunted one last time by his literary creations. They take him on a melancholic journey through the world of fairy tales before he must move on and leave his characters behind as ghosts, doomed to eternal repetition through the stories that have since become part of the world's cultural heritage.
