Røverdatter, whose real name is Maja Møller-Knudsen, is a local Funen singer, musician and songwriter. She creates honest, organic and uncompromising pop music.
Røverdatter prefers to venture off the beaten track. She doesn’t bend the rules; she makes her own. In her music, she finds a space where the quirky, the fragile and the imperfect are allowed to shine, and where the courage to stand alone becomes a source of strength.
Raised amidst open fields and windswept coasts, she began writing songs and playing instruments as early as the age of five. Ever since, music has been her natural language – an intuitive and honest way of understanding and interpreting the world.
Look forward to Røverdatter on the Amfi Stage at the H.C. Andersen Festival.
