Watch the skilled woodcarver Balder Mo transform a large tree trunk into a sculpture of Hans Christian Andersen and his mother.
Through the transformation of the wood, Balder will present his interpretation of how Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale world, which still resonates around the world today, is connected to his mother, Anne Marie Andersdatter.
During the festival week, you can watch as the woodcarver cuts the trunk with a chainsaw and transforms it into new figures.
